Wavefront scleral lens following keratoconus corneal transplant and LASIK
A penetrating corneal transplant to correct keratoconus resulted in astigmatism. LASIK was performed to correct the astigmatism, but caused even more astigmatism than the initial surgery. Massive higher order aberrations also resulted. The patient traveled to see Dr. G. and LASERFIT VISION. The result was that the astigmatism was corrected and the higher order aberrations greatly reduced using a wavefront scleral lens. Click on report link to see more.
