The Laserfit® Lens Today
In 2013 we successfully migrated the design process into the best software platform available and custom features for our needs. We can accommodate any kind of image file including point’s clouds from scanners. While I don’t have a Ph.D., I am sure you would agree that after all the years of advanced contributions I have made to the field, I feel like I’ve earned one.
The end result is a scleral, or mini-scleral lens that can be totally customized to the needs of each eye, both from the anatomical shape to the complexity of the optics. This can be accomplished within a short time frame, and without the use of cumbersome trial lenses, or a messy and unpleasant molding process from a bygone era. We are immensely proud of what we have achieved and feel privileged to be a part of touching so many lives by restoring their vision quality.
