Dr. Qian Wu visits Laserfit® and Dr. G.
Over the past few years, Dr. G. and Laserfit® have seen increasing numbers of patients from China. No, they are not Chinese nationals who are living and working in Texas. These are patients who travel here just for the services we provide.
Most of them have had some type of elective surgery such as LASIK or SMILE, and like many of their U.S. counterparts suffer from night vision disturbances and dry eyes. Somehow they “discovered” Dr. G. and with the help of the internet and applications like Wee Chat, he has developed quite a following.
A couple of weeks ago, Laserfit® was visited by a popular eye doctor from Shanghai, the very lovely Dr. Qian Wu, MD who travels back and forth between Pittsburgh where her Ph.D. husband works, and Shanghai where she still has a practice. She says her patients are always asking about Dr. G.
